SACC CR Open 2025: Draw Now Open

The global squash scene is buzzing — Farag and Asal are locked in a fierce race for the world No.1 spot, excitement builds around squash’s long-awaited Olympic debut at LA28, and right here in Costa Rica, we are already beginning the preparations for another incredible edition of the SACC CR Open!

With the 2025 draw officially open, the countdown to one of the PSA Tour’s most anticipated stops is underway. From November 11–15, players will once again hit the courts at Santa Ana Country Club to compete for a $15K prize pool — together with some sunshine and “pura vida” while they’re at it!

Last year, our tournament welcomed players from 19 countries, — including Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Paraguay, USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, Germany, Finland, Hungary, India, Egypt, and even Australia! This year, we’re hoping to match — or exceed — that level of international representation, with 48 spots once again available.

We’re also eager to see who our Top Seeds will be in 2025, and whether they’ll top last year’s highest-ranked entries: Marie Stephan (#47) and David Baillargeon (#52). With the draw open until October, there’s still plenty of time for surprises.

The SACC CR Open has been dubbed a “favorite tournament” by many players over the years — a recognition we are incredibly proud of, and a true testament to our dedication and passion for squash, and so we can’t wait to see who returns and who makes their debut in 2025!
